Norwegian Cruise Line has officially pulled back the curtain on Norwegian Aura, and the cruise world is buzzing. Now open for booking, this brand-new ship will be the largest and longest vessel in Norwegian Cruise Line’s history, debuting with inaugural sailings in 2027.
After launching in Europe in late May 2027, Norwegian Aura will make her way to Miami in June 2027, where she’ll begin offering seven-night Caribbean itineraries designed for families, couples, and multigenerational travelers alike.

Stretching nearly 1,130 feet long and weighing 168,000 gross tons, Norwegian Aura will carry 3,840 guests at double occupancy, making her approximately 10% larger than Norwegian Aqua and Norwegian Luna.
The ship blends fan-favorite NCL experiences with all-new, family-forward spaces, delivering a vacation that feels both comfortably familiar and excitingly fresh.
