Summer nights at Walt Disney World are about to shine a little brighter. Disney has officially announced the return of the fan-favorite H2O Glow After Hours event at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, bringing glowing lights, beloved characters, and unforgettable nighttime fun back to the water park.
Running on select nights from June 2 through September 5, this limited-time event will offer 13 electrifying evenings packed with entertainment, attractions, and exclusive experiences. With additional weekend dates added this year, it’s easier than ever for families and Disney fans to plan a night of neon-lit fun.
A Glow-Up Featuring Powerline Max and Rare Characters
One of the biggest highlights of this year’s event is the expanded lineup of Disney characters. Guests can get ready to “Stand Out” with Powerline Max, who will be greeting fans throughout the evening in a rare appearance that’s sure to be a hit.
Joining the party are Donald and Daisy Duck, bringing their beachy energy to the DJ dance party, along with appearances from Chip ‘n’ Dale (as Rescue Rangers), Scrooge McDuck, and Launchpad McQuack. With characters rotating throughout the night, guests can expect spontaneous, magical interactions and plenty of photo opportunities.
After-Hours Access with More Fun, Less Wait
The event offers a unique way to experience Typhoon Lagoon after dark. Guests can float along Castaway Creek, take thrilling nighttime rides on Humunga Kowabunga, and enjoy significantly shorter wait times, allowing more time for fun and less time in line.
The atmosphere is transformed with glowing décor, high-energy music, and a lively party vibe that makes the park feel entirely new once the sun sets.

Tickets go on sale:
- April 21 for guests staying at select Disney Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin, and Shades of Green
- April 24 for the general public
Pricing starts at $85 + tax for adults, with $20 savings for children (ages 3–9). Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can also enjoy 20% discounts.
Guests attending the event will also receive complimentary snacks, including classic favorites like Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars, with additional specialty food and beverage offerings expected to be announced closer to summer.
