Universal Orlando Resort has electrified horror fans with the announcement that a haunted house themed to the global phenomenon “Fallout” will be a terrifying centerpiece of Halloween Horror Nights 34 at Universal Studios Florida. This marks the first time guests can step into the brutal post-apocalyptic wasteland of the hit Prime Video series and award-winning Bethesda Game Studios video game franchise.
Starting Friday, August 29 at Universal Orlando Resort and Thursday, September 4 at Universal Studios Hollywood, brave visitors will descend into the nightmare world of the year 2296. The unimaginable terror begins beneath the surface in Vault 33. Guests follow vault-dweller Lucy MacLean as she escapes a bloody massacre, uncovering an evil secret before being thrust onto the irradiated surface. There, they must dodge attacks from desperate Scavengers and Raiders, evade mutated RAD Roaches, and traverse iconic locations like the Super Duper Mart. The journey brings terrifying encounters with The Ghoul, a centuries-old irradiated bounty hunter, and a young squire named Maximus in his imposing T-60 armor. Authentic scenes and characters promise an unnerving experience where escape from the horrors of The Wasteland feels uncertain.
This year’s event also features all-new “Fallout”-inspired merchandise, including limited-release t-shirts and tumblers available now, plus collectible graphic puzzle pieces that form a framed mural showcasing haunted house highlights.
Halloween Horror Nights 34 at Universal Orlando runs for 48 select nights from August 29 through November 2, featuring 10 haunted houses, scare zones, and live shows. Tickets and event-inclusive vacation packages are on sale now. Options include single-night tickets, Halloween Horror Nights Express Passes for skipping lines, the premium R.I.P. Tour with VIP haunted house entry, and the Behind the Screams daytime tour.
